My name is Lexine Solis. and this is my story.
I’m a senior and captain of the Lady Bulldogs girls varsity basketball team, and while basketball has always been my passion, an injury during my sophomore season changed the way I engaged with the game. Though I couldn’t play, my love for the sport never faded. Watching from the sidelines reignited the same energy and drive that basketball has always given me.
During this time, I picked up a camera to capture the moments I missed. What started as a way to stay connected to the game quickly grew into something deeper. Photography became my new passion. I wasn’t just taking pictures—I was telling stories, capturing emotions, and preserving moments in time that would otherwise be lost. With every shot, I learned more about composition, light, and timing. It became clear that photography was more than a hobby.
Through this journey, I’ve discovered a new way to express myself and connect with the world. My business, Lexphotography, isn’t just about taking photos—it’s about capturing the essence of moments, whether it’s the energy of a game, the quiet reflection of a teammate, or the raw emotion of victory. Photography allows me to share the moments that matter, one shot at a time.
